I knocked a full mug of hot black tea onto our light ivory woven area rug this morning. I immediately blotted up as much liquid as I could with paper towels, but a prominent brownish ring settled into the center. I'm afraid that using grocery store spot removers will bleach or yellow the fibers. Is there an effective way to restore the rug?
