The SAP Program for Truck Drivers seeks to address and prevent substance abuse among truck drivers by providing a range of services and support. The SAP Evaluation enables access to services for drug abuse prevention, education, and treatment. Additionally, counselling and support groups are offered. The programme is managed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and funded by the trucking industry (NHTSA).
