Just got back and already missing the silence of the mountains

I don't even know where to start, I spent ten days walking through landscapes I genuinely didn't know existed in Morocco. Everyone talks about the desert and the coast but the valleys up near M'Goun are something else entirely. We walked past terraced fields with women harvesting, stopped for bread and honey in tiny villages, and the colours at sunset over the pink cliffs were unreal. I booked a Morocco Rose Valley trekking tour that started in Skoura and wound through the gorges and up to these amazing viewpoints, and honestly the best part was the guide showing us which wild plants to eat and introducing us to his family in one of the hamlets. If you're debating between the usual circuit and doing something more active in the mountains, just go for it. My legs were sore but my head felt so clear. Now I'm home and it feels way too loud.
