Hey cricket fans! With the international calendar packed and selection debates heating up, I wanted to kick off a discussion on who the truly elite Indian current fast bowlers are right now. There's so much talent in the pipeline it's genuinely hard to keep track.

For me, Jasprit Bumrah stands alone at the top. The numbers speak for themselves — 128 wickets in 30 Tests, 137 in 81 ODIs, and 74 in 62 T20Is. His unorthodox action, devastating yorkers, and ability to generate reverse swing at pace make him one of the best fast bowlers in the world, not just India. His 8-wicket haul across three ODI World Cup 2023 matches was masterclass bowling.

Mohammed Shami deserves just as much recognition among the Indian current fast bowlers. His 229 Test wickets and 171 ODI wickets reflect a decade of exceptional swing and seam bowling. His tournament performances, especially in knockout stages, are second to none.

For the future, I'm excited about Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, and Umran Malik. Siraj has proved himself in the absence of senior players, Arshdeep led the T20 attack superbly, and Umran — the Jammu Express — is the fastest Indian bowler the sport has seen.
