I’m looking to get an EEG test (Electroencephalogram) done for a family member due to recent episodes of dizziness and possible seizures. I’ve seen prices vary a lot online and from lab to lab — some mention ₹1,500, others go up to ₹5,000 depending on whether it’s a routine or video EEG.

If you or someone you know has recently done an EEG test, can you please share:

• How much did it cost you?

• Which city/lab/hospital did you go to?

• Was it a standard EEG or a more detailed (e.g. sleep-deprived or video) EEG?

• Did the lab provide a neurologist consultation along with the test?

This info would really help me (and others) budget better and find a reliable diagnostic center.
