Hey folks,
I wanted to start a discussion about the key full stack .NET developer skills that are actually needed in 2025.
I see a lot of generic lists online, but I’d love to hear from people who are working in the industry right now. From what I’ve gathered so far, a good full stack .NET developer should know:
Back-end:
Front-end:
Database:
Other important skills:
Git & version control workflows
Docker basics & CI/CD pipelines (like Azure DevOps)
Cloud exposure (Azure is a big plus)
I’m curious — for those of you already working as full stack .NET developers, which skills do you use daily, and which ones are just “good to have”?
Also, any resources or personal learning paths would be awesome.
Thanks in advance for sharing your insights on full stack .NET developer skills!
